Another year down, and another year celebrating the heart and soul of Crossland—our incredible employees. On December 7th, 2024, we gathered in Tulsa, Oklahoma, for our 47th annual Christmas party. What began in 1977 as a humble gathering of a handful of people has grown into a grand tradition, uniting nearly 1,600 people from six states and eleven offices for a weekend of connection, reflection, and celebration.

Every year, the Christmas party carries a theme, and this year’s, “Race for the Crown,” couldn’t have been more fitting.

We’re not just in a race; we’re in the race—to break into the Top 50 Contractors in the U.S. by our 50th anniversary in 2027. It’s a goal we set in 2017, a lofty one at that, but thanks to the incredible people in this room, we’re well on our way.

This year, we ranked #55—the highest in company history!

The night served as a moment to pause and celebrate the strides we’ve made together, setting our sights firmly on that finish line ahead.

The evening kicked off with a look back at 2024—a year of extraordinary achievements:

These numbers are more than milestones; they’re a testament to the hard work and dedication of every Crossland employee.

A new highlight this year was the Legacy Project Award, recognizing a single project that showcases collaboration across multiple Crossland companies, divisions, and trades. These projects challenge us, push our boundaries, and leave a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

This award honors iconic projects like Tulsa’s Gathering Place, the Zinc Dam, and the Williams Crossing Bridge and Flumes—projects that redefine what’s possible and cement Crossland’s legacy as leaders in the building industry.

The night continued with recognition of two outstanding individuals:

These awards represent the highest honors within Crossland, and both recipients left us inspired by their commitment and impact.

Of course, no Crossland Christmas party is complete without some serious fun. After the awards, we hit the dance floor with the tunes of “My So-Called Band,” a local Oklahoma favorite. With laughter, camaraderie, and plenty of moves on the dance floor, the night was a true celebration of the spirit that makes Crossland great.

As the evening came to a close, one thing was clear: this wasn’t just a party—it was a celebration of everything that makes Crossland special. From our shared accomplishments to the friendships that unite us, the 47th annual Christmas party was a reminder of how far we’ve come and how much we can achieve together.

Here’s to a year of hard work, big wins, and an even brighter future. Let’s keep racing for that crown, Crossland family—we’re well on our way!

Another year down, and another year celebrating the heart and soul of Crossland—our incredible employees.
